What is a Chatbot and How to Use It for Your Business



We are living on the edge of Artificial Intelligence where AI will replace manual to Automation. But remember AI can never be implemented 100% everywhere; Hence not all chatbots will be not successful in the real world.


Chabot’s are scripted or programmed solutions which can make text conversations. They work through a lot of organized and repetitive tasks to participate in an easy to complex familiar discussions with web programs, projects, and people. The final aim is to develop a good user experiences with conversations that promote related solutions for according to the human needs.
It’s not like these Chat-bots are going to be replace full websites or mobile apps. They are only one more option or tool available to us that can assist us with bettering speak with users or clients.
So, why do these Chat-bots fail? The most relevant reasons have to do with the design procedure.
 Reason 1 Scripting: While working in in this Artificial Intelligence technology, it is important to remember that the initial step of interaction will be via a scripted conversation when a human or user engaged with a bot. And also makes sure that the bot is not a jerk. This action will represent the company or product of yours. It is recommended that your chat-bots must be an efficient, polite and helpful. Ensure that is programmed to response for messages like hi, hello, goodbye etc.
Reason 2 Technology: There is an availability of large set of tools you can utilize to create and support this speaking technology, but some of them have only linear intelligence so that’s why the market most of the chatbots are not so intelligent. They work on simple programmed logic where capable receiving a simple answer and with an absence of responsive elements to improve the conversation. Best bot with good logical programmed and intelligent bots are expensive and need a complex learning process to provide a wonderful experience.
Always understand the technical limits of the bot tool which you are using. Establish the elements available to develop an interesting chat. Since these are the new technologies, we must have patience about the technical capacity. Just don’t expect a more natural kind of bot to develop more interactive conversational interfaces than the tool you are using can supply.
Reason 3 Purpose: So do really want people to use your chat-bot? Then ensure that it has a clear goal and benefit to the user or humans speaking about it. It can be enticing or interesting to program a Chatbot for no other reason than to development of a AI bot. Without the clear purpose these kind of chat will be rarely successful. Since it a chatbot so People will it merely. People may even get annoyed by it. Chatbots are a powerful interactive tool until we give them a worthy purpose. Make sure that the efforts developing a bot will resolve for a real purpose or a real need. Don’t develop it unless you made mind with clear ideas, maybe you can try some other time.

Reason 4: Forgetting chatbots aren’t humans: Engaging with a bot is not the same as engaging real human being. There are numerous of restriction that will leave users to make upset and irritate if they wanted to have a interaction with a live human or user, the chatbot is introduced as such, and then fails them. Never expect the bots to resolve issues like the way we human do, especially when there is conversation is emotional. Be clear and transparent with users; let them know they are engaged with a bot and not with a real human. So to moderate the conversation human has to be aware he is engaged with bot to adjust questions and tasks.
